i have rediscovered this soundtrack a day ago and i have fallen IN LOVE. currently i have favorited "Robots FTW", "Space Phase", "Cara Mia Addio", and "Turret Wife Serenade". this shit be reminding me of toby fox it is NOT FUNNY. perhaps thats how i tend to be with video game music but like the CRUNCH of the 8 bit parts and the combination of modern music practices (multitracking and reverb and clean recordings!!)

why i love it and why you should too

• good names ("Spaaaace" is a really nice ambient track with a funny name, "I Made It All Up" reminds me of the "source? i made it the fuck up" meme)
• kanaya maryam typing quirk titles
• lots of ambient with nice texture, panning, and soundscape
• "Cara Mia Addio": industrial catholic choir. samples metal noises and robotic choir singing

specific songs i like

• "Robots FTW": the lead is probably some sort of microtonal melody which is really nice and scrumptious. its choppy and free form which reminds me of a free verse, then the song gets to the chorus which is fully standard harmonies. really good, reminds me of rap tracks with a choral chorus.
• "Turret Wife Serenade": "vocals" sound soampled and reversed. lots of beeps, robotic noises. composition reminds me of baroque, can see this being played on harpsichord.
• "The Reunion": it has "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" vibes with the low minor arpeggio at the beginning a lot of the songs in the ost have this vibe but this stood out to me
